Seven of Swords

The man in the Seven of Swords appears to be sneaking away with the swords from the encampment in the background. This would indicate that he’s some kind of a thief, a deceiver, or possibly just really clever. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing is dependent on his motivation and what’s driving him to sneak away with those swords. Is he one of the good guys or the bad guys?

The Seven of Swords could indicate having victory stolen away in the final hours of a campaign. Some card interpretations think this could be a Trickster figure, suggesting even that he may have put a spell on the men in the camp to be able to sneak away with their swords in broad daylight. It’s worthy to note that this is not a “thief in the night,” but someone able to boldly work his deceptions in the light of day.

Be wary of those using deception and trickery to get their way, or employing these tactics yourself, unless you are very sure that you are working for the greater good and not for selfish reasons.
