XIX – The Sun Tarot Card

And finally, the dawn arrives.

The Sun tarot card is like Tim Robbins coming out of that sewer in The Shawshank Redemption, except coming out into the brilliant rays of the sun rather than a thunderstorm. It’s the joy you feel on the other side of the darkness, and if you thought you knew happiness before, nothing compares to this kind of happy. This is the kind of happy you have to go through sad to get to, and this is when you realize all the pain, all the loss all the struggle was worth it.

The Sun is when you realize all that hardship wasn’t wasted time, but the very thing that finally warmed your heart in a much deeper way than ever before. It’s the joy of having hit rock bottom and turned things around. The whole world is fresh in this new light of The Sun tarot card, literally and figuratively.

The worst is behind you and the best is yet to come.
