Two of Wands

Some see the Two of Wands in a negative light, but nothing in this card seems to support that interpretation of sadness or strife. Instead, the Two of Wands shows a man with the world in his hands, peering across his kingdom. However, the sadness some interpret here may be related to how the man came to this place of power. It could be a bittersweet victory he’s enjoying.

Along with that comes the strength to endure and do what has to be done. This is a time of brief rest, but now it’s time to move on to the next phase of a project.

Note the lilies and roses on the cross in the left lower corner, representing the spiritual and corporeal opposites. This implies finding a balance between spiritual needs and survival in the material world.
