Queen of Wands

The queens of the tarot are the nurturers, so the Queen of Wands nurtures creative passions, whether within herself or others. Her throne is decorated with lions, reminiscent of the Strength card. But unlike that card where a woman is trying to tame a lion, the Queen of Wands has a domestic black cat at her feet. She has conquered her fears, taming the beast, and has turned her passions into domestic bliss.

With the wands being a suit of fire, she dwells in a desert and could be the zodiac sign of Leo, or the Lion. She holds a sunflower in her hand and her warmth toward others is one of her best traits.
