Eight of Wands

The Eight of Wands in a tarot reading can be seen as a card indicating “full speed ahead,” but is it through good fortune and will yield a positive result, or is it prompted by acting impulsively and without looking before you leap? That’s the question when this card appears in a tarot reading.

Luckily, unless the Eight of Wands is negatively aspected, it usually indicates a positive move forward, with the budding leaves of the wands and the lush, green landscape in the background. The wands are also sort of reminiscent of arrows flying through the air, so an appearance by the Eight of Wands (I keep mistyping that “Eight of WanTs”) may be telling you now is the time to take your best shot and go for it, but do so with precision and care.

There’s a boldness in taking action, but just make sure it’s a well thought out action.
