In Hellenistic astrology, the Moon rules Cancer, bringing intuition, sensitivity, and a deep connection to emotions. The Moon’s influence in Cancer fosters nurturing, security, and a strong bond with family and home. The Moon also governs Monday in planetary magick, a day dedicated to intuition, emotional healing, and inner reflection. Mondays are ideal for setting intentions related to personal well-being, connecting with inner needs, and tuning into the rhythms of life—anything that nurtures the soul and aligns with deeper emotional wisdom.

Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy presents the Moon draped in the purest white, symbolizing her ethereal, luminous quality. Yet, when one looks beyond this foundational text, a broader spectrum of colors comes to light—silver, soft light blue, and a variety of pastels, each evoking different facets of the Moon’s shifting phases and moods. The Moon’s attire is not just an aesthetic choice; it’s a deliberate coordination of hues that mirror her ever-changing nature, from the pale glow of her waxing crescent to the cool, serene tones of her full radiance. Each garment, whether shimmering silver or delicate lavender, is harmonized to reflect the Moon’s fluidity, capturing her mysterious, nurturing essence on the planetary day dedicated to her influence.
