The Prayer of Thursday

Lord our God, the great, praised and incomprehensible, whose height of divinity is immeasurable, unto you I pray. I, the unworthy, beg the height of your compassion, hear me and make this attempt in the work I want to do, to be highly effective. I conjure you, most valorous and most beneficial Jupiter, by the immeasurable ankle of God, do not disobey me.

I conjure you, Jupiter, by the grace of all herbs. I conjure you, Jupiter, by your valour and justice, by your miraculous virtues and in your following names:

Misthan, Mesaou, Alasignō, Pelkhaous, Aabiō, Kedesōd, Olabēr, Sediō, Azanōr, Merran.

[In your most great and valorous names, grant your grace and your virtue in the work I am going to do.]

Turn back your foul fortune from me. Bring me only good fortune. Amen.

Jupiter: Sagittarius & Pisces

In Hellenistic astrology, Jupiter rules Sagittarius and Pisces, infusing each with its expansive, wise, and optimistic energy. For Sagittarius, Jupiter inspires exploration, growth, and a love for adventure, while in Pisces, it deepens compassion, spiritual insight, and imagination. Jupiter also rules Thursday in planetary magick, making it the best day for rituals related to abundance, luck, and wisdom. Thursdays are perfect for aiming high, attracting good fortune, and focusing on growth, whether in learning, spiritual pursuits, or life’s opportunities.

While Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy famously crowns Jupiter with the regal hues of purple, azure, and saffron yellow, other sources weave in their own vibrant palette, adding shades like turquoise and royal blue to Jupiter’s celestial wardrobe. These varied interpretations speak to the dynamic, expansive nature of Jupiter itself, embodying the planet’s boundless influence and rich symbolism. Each item of clothing, whether golden-threaded or sapphire-tinted, is meticulously crafted to harmonize with the planetary day and the spirit of Jupiter, creating a cohesive tapestry that resonates with its majestic and benevolent power.
