Gemini is the 3rd sign of the zodiac, and its ruling planet is Mercury.

Gemini is the sign of the twins, and as a mutable sign, they crave change and tend to jump from one activity to another. With Mercury as their ruling planet, they love to communicate and tend to be very cerebral. They tend to be energetic and always on the go, but always entertaining if you can slow them down for five minutes.  Always have them on your party guest list to guarantee a lively time. Those born in the sign of Gemini excel in writing and communication careers such as journalists, novelists and public relations experts.
